what is wrong and what are we fixing?
the Problem
As you can see, there are a few key issues that are a problem for our society:

Roughly 60% of our energy is rejected or never actually used. Essentially meaning that we are wasting 50% more energy than we are consuming.

39% of our electricity generation comes from Coal sources
-
92% of our transportation fuel comes from Petroleum based sources
Currently, we are on no track to achieve sustainability, and don’t show any hope of passing any comprehensive plan that encompasses all the precise workings of our complex energy system. However, we are at a point where we can take smaller steps that can leave a much larger footprint on our energy future than we think.
